Serious seriousness now.

Okay so I posted a general OOTD post yesterday, very simple, the only editing is brightness and contrast, I even made it my new profile picture on facebook! But then, I thought, what if? What if I looked different and edited it a little further. So, I loaded up photoshop and got playing. I completely changed my face shape, my nose shape, the height of my forehead, i reshaped my jaw, I went mad for it really. I even made my eyes bigger. A lot of this wouldn't even be possible, I wouldn't be able to breathe through the nose I made, or move my head or jaw with how my face is.
It really got me thinking, and to be honest it got me down. I feel so sorry for celebrities who are touched up without their permission!
I really don't want anybody to feel this way.
Everybody needs to know that what you see on tv and in magazines and here on the internet isn't real! You should never get yourself down about it and you are perfect the way you are! You have to work with what you've got, that, is the beauty of make up, and fashion! Changing and adapting with what we've got.
So here's the before.

And here's the after.

  1. Such an interesting blog post. Both pictures look lovely but it just shows how much airbrushing etc is done in magazines xo

  6. It really is such a crazy thing. I think I would feel the same if someone thought they should completely alter my face shape. Plus, I think you look a million times better in the first photo. You look a little emaciated in the altered one... But you definitely have some skills with photoshop! I wouldn't even know where to start with this.
