My boyfriend, Shane, came around yesterday and it'll was the penultimate time I'll see him properly so we had to make the most of it so I didn't have time to blog, but here's a quick snap of what I was wearing.

Tartan Trousers

are on my NEED list before I go to Italy.
Specifically

these

these are McQ Alexander Mcqueen and are £180 in the sale from Net-A-Porter.
They're tailored and stylish and just so so beautiful. Unfortunately my move to Italy means a very very low budget, so I just can't fork out £180 for a single pair of trousers, McQueen or not. Sad face.

However, Oasis have a very similar pair in their sale for £22.
But, obviously, they don't have a size 8. Sad face.

Topshop to the rescue. Here is a picture of me in their version.
My only problem with these, are that they're £40 and so thin, they definitely don't compare to the McQ pair.
But being the only ones I can find, I may have to cave and buy them.
One more trip to town is in order before I leave!

OCTOBER.

The nights are drawing in, the temperatures dropping and its time to put the leggings and tights away for the winter.
As I've gotten older it has become more acceptable and more fashionable for a woman to wear trousers.
Tailored trousers show authority and power.
So I won't be shying away this winter.

I saw this American Apparel swimsuit on a girl in Pandora's Box a fair few months ago now and have wanted it ever since. Now I've finally tracked it down I've been struggling to come up with something else to wear it with.
Heres a compilation of some of my current autumn favourites to mix and match.
