Illamasqua: Loella Nail Varnish

I saw this gorgeous bottle arrive in the post for my Mum, and I knew I needed it.
When she wasn't looking a snatched it up and painted my nails with it. This was a week ago, and not a single nail has chipped. So not only is it a gorgeous summer colour, its also super durable; and I work in retail! I find it so hard to find a nail varnish that can survive me using my hands so much in the day.
Some people my think £14.50 might be a lot, but it really is so good, two coats and you're done!

Essie Watermelon.

My little sister rang me from town the other day.
‘Hey I’m buying some Essie Nail Varnishes what do you want!?’
I went straight to the website and chose my colours.
Boots had a 2 for 3 offer so I will have 3 posts over the next week on the colours we chose.
However the photos will be of my sisters nails because she has such gorgeous hands.

The first of the colours is Watermelon. It is a really gorgeous colour, definitely a more pink than how I would describe watermelon. The consistency of the Essie varnishes is amazing, considering you have neat nails to begin with. I have very short nails so it’s much harder to apply, but as you can see my sisters are lovely and long and in very good condition. The varnish simply glides on in 2 sweeps as it has a wide brush and it doesn’t require a second coat. I would definitely suggest you head down to your local boots and make the most of this offer!

Mani/Pedi day!

The world and his wife knows I hate feet, if you touch me with them, then I will hurt you. So I take extra care to make mine pretty! Moisturisers, nail polish, jewellery!

Snow day, Time to play!

I'm currently dying my hair so this is a little post to kill time. I was given these Fearne Cotton Nail Varnishes from an Auntie this Christmas and I realised everybody in my house had used them but me, so I thought I'd give one a go. It's not the thickest of polishes but it glides on nicely, just needs two or three coats to get a very pure colour.

Jumper:MissGuided Shirt:Jack Wills Shorts:Levi's *Thrifted
Nail Varnish:Nails Inc Watch:Michael Kors

I recently read in Tatler magazine that shorts are like skirts but more mysterious. I think that cold weather doesn't mean you need to hide your legs away in jeans. Winter shorts and skirts paired with leggings or tights, long socks and a pair of boots is way cuter being completely covered.
My Michael Kors watch was this years Christmas present and I love it so much, yes, they are pricey, but its a simple accessory that guarantee's stylish bling in everyday outfits.
